[JLPT 2] December

3 weeks ago I made an inquiry to find out about the cost and when the JLPT will be held. Yesterday the answer finally came in. It is only offered once per year, in December, and that they could not tell me how much it will cost, but that there will be a course to prepare for the test. This means that I could wait, or travel to London, France, or Italy, and take it this summer. It all depends on my health situation, whether or not I can travel at all. So it might be safer not to sign up, pay money for tickets, and a hotel and instead accept that I have to wait until December and take it in my own country.

Every country has its own dark past. There was war, murder, and violence. People were sometimes killed, raped, and murdererd in ways so gruesome, that there are no words to describe the horrible deaths they must have suffered. The history tells us about people who were butchered, or have been dying in medical experiments, for no other reason than to develop and test new deadly biological weapons. [JLPT 2] Week 4

Last week was terrbile. My father was hospitalized with the diagnosis of heart flutters. Untreated this could have led to a stroke … I was worried sick about him, but eventually he got better in the last couple of days, and he was released from the hospital on Tuesday. The reason for all this was medication he got prescribed from a doctor 3 years ago. Since he has to take other medication it caused this problem … But now everything is alright and I am reliefed that he is getting better now. What a relief!

Basic Training

Reading, listening, speaking and writing, are the four main fields you have to master in any language. But to master something, you not only have to learn first, but also do basic training once in a while. The more you practice the basics the better it is for your progress. Think of it, it might be boring to hear sentences like 写真に写っている寺は浅草にある浅草寺。 Alright, this sentence is not very basic, but how about a dialogue like the following?
